Steeped in history, this wonderful long distance path takes you north, from the bustling commuter town of Milngavie (pronounced mul-guy), to the Highland tourist hub of Fort William, nestled in the shadow of Britain’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis (1, metres). Our easy or no more than moderately strenuous walks will take you to some exciting and awe inspiring locations in the Highlands such as classic u-shaped glens and ancient volcanoes where you will have plenty of opportunity to explore features such as the remains of vast calderas or up and onto lava topped summits.
